Lacrosse is an aggressive, strategic and most of all fun sport. It is the fastest game on two feet and the oldest game in North America. The object is getting and keeping the ball from your opponent and with teamwork working it down toward your goal and firing the ball past the goalie into the goal. Bulldogs lacrosse is a youth lacrosse program sponsored by OLMC CYO. We invited kids from neighboring parishes; Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Jude and St. Martin of Tours to participate. We have both a boy's and girls lacrosse program. The season begins March 1st and runs through early June. The teams generally practice two or three times a week and the games are mostly on weekends. We have boy's teams in 3rd and 4th grade; 5th and 6th grade and 7th and 8th grade and we usually have two teams in each grade level. We have teams for experienced and inexperienced players. Our program focuses on teaching the boys and girls how to play the game while having fun and will also prepare the players to play lacrosse in high school and beyond.
