Our Youth Group is not just a spiritual one, we like to have fun too. We go on
trips, rallies that allow the OLMC Youth Group to help, meet, and exchange views
with other kids, youth groups, or parishes.
We do things like the Best Buddies Dance, white-water
rafting, picnics, car wash/dry, baking cookies, and selling flowers.
No matter what it is, from a dance for the handicapped to
baking cookies for the prisoners. We always manage to have a lot of fun, with
each other, and the kids we meet along the way.
In our ever changing world; knowledge is a type of power.
Thus, we feel that it is necessary that we, as a group of teens expand our minds
and learning as much as we do our faith. We have talks throughout the year on
things like coping with stress, SAT prep courses, anger management, talks on Aid's
and abortion. All of this helps us to realize what we are exposed to, and some
ways of dealing with it.
